Background

As we consulted with various organizations we found that the same or similar problems seemed to occur with different clients. In an effort to help our clients reduce the chances of future problems, we began to analyze the problems:

Are there preventable computer problems?

Is there a systematic way to prevent these problems?

As we did more research we came up with a list of preventable problems and developed ways to identify these problems. Once we had a list we were able to work with our clients to reduce the chance of having these problems occurring in their offices.

This research became the genesis of the Computer Support Plan.

Once this prevention component was developed, we looked at other ways that our clients use our services to determine ways we could help them more effectively. Prompt support for unforeseen problems after they occur is critical. We developed ways for clients to contact us quickly for immediate telephone support. We also developed a method of accessing emergency support when critical business problems occur.
